Born and raised in the former USSR, Nelly always had a curiosity for psychology and the human psyche. Originally obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, she later returned to school to study her true passion, and earned a degree in Clinical Psychology. 

After what seemed to be a pretty normal upbringing, Nelly began to face many challenging life experiences. Nelly, her husband, and newborn son immigrated to the USA after all experiencing a string of events that could quite literally be described as right out of a horror movie.

Life in America didn’t prove to be much easier, however. After a major earthquake struck the area of California they were living in, almost all of their possessions were destroyed. During this time, her son also began to experience health issues, and Nelly herself was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. It was at this point that she began to research herbs, homeopathy, and other alternative treatments.

Although during this time Nelly was living a very healthy lifestyle, eating a clean diet, and using a combination of eastern and western medical treatments, she was experiencing the worst depression of her life, and her fibromyalgia had escalated to the point to where she could hardly function with her day-to-day life. At the end of the road, Nelly revisited her lifelong passion of psychology.

With a degree in Clinical Psychology, Nelly was already well aware of the mind-body connection. This time around, however, Nelly wasn’t much interested in the classical approach to psychology, finding herself drawn to newer approaches. It was at this point that Nelly realized that if she was going to heal, it was going to come from within, instead of through external means.

After gaining several certifications, Nelly developed her own style of treatment, which she credits as freeing her from years of physical and emotional pain. Since then, Nelly has worked with clients from all over the world, helping them achieve the same level of healing that she experienced herself.
